Third Party and Hybrid Maintenance is the smart way to support your Cisco Infrastructure. It goes beyond Cisco’s Break-Fix Smart Net model to provide pro-active support, hot standby hardware and a primary point of contact for your multiproduct, multivendor support requirements.
A Cisco Third Party Maintenance solution is the only option to support your Cisco devices once the Cisco End of Support date has passed, and by extending the life of your Cisco devices you can run greener, reduce waste, and lower your ongoing support costs.
By combining Cisco’s support services with our Third Party Maintenance and hardware solutions you can achieve a Hybrid Support Solution that exceeds normal OEM support for a fraction of the cost.
Our bespoke Cisco Hybrid Support solution provides the cost effective support based on the needs of your business. Each item of equipment is individually checked for the best possible overall support solution.
Our Hybrid Cisco Support Solution is available in over 100 countries, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our support technicians have extensive experience and are qualified to offer level 3 and 4 support in a variety of languages.
Third Party Maintenance is normally around 60-80% cheaper than vendor supplied maintenance support.
The price of a 3rd Party Maintenance Agreement will depend on a number of factors, including the SLA required, the number and type of devices, and the requirement for software updates and support. We publish a guide price for all of our Cisco Third Party Support solutions, but our offer is based on a three step process, enquiry, analysis and solution.
Make a Third Party Maintenance Enquiry - we require your device serial numbers and confirmation of installation address.
We will investigate each individual serial number in your estate and provide support options for your consideration.
Our Hybrid Third Party Maintenance will include Vendor and Third Party Support, which can result in significant savings over traditional support agreements.
Our Third Party Maintenance solutions offers 3 standard levels of SLA (service-level agreements), however we also offer additional levels to meet specific requirements.
Our follow the sun support is available 24 hours a day and we speak your language.
Our average response time is under 10 minutes.
Our unique proposition gives us access to the largest spares inventory.
Our tailored approach gives you the support SLA that you want.
There are over twenty different versions of the Cisco Hardware Warranty, from the basic 90 day limited warranty to the enhanced limited lifetime warranty.
Our hybrid 3rd party maintenance starts with the type of Cisco warranty that the device has, if any, and then builds to provide the required support for a cost effective continuity solution.
The Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Warranty (E-LLW) provides NBD Hardware Replacement which is comparable to standard Cisco Smart Net and should be considered before any Smart Net or Third Party Maintenance purchase.
In addition, Cisco are increasingly offering Software Update programs which provide free lifetime software updates for selected equipment – regardless of any warranty entitlement.
The Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Warranty (E-LLW) provides the same terms as Cisco’s standard warranty but adds next-business-day delivery of replacement hardware, where available, and 90 days of 8×5 Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support.
Any device that is covered with the Cisco Enhanced Lifetime Warranty is unlikely to require support beyond the provision of Technical Assistance and access to the latest device software.
It is important to ensure that the requirements for the extended warranty are met to avoid delays should a warranty claim be required.
